You ever wanted to go to a party and in planning for it, you save all your money, mark your calendar, shop till you drop for the perfect suit, makeup, ensure all you're going with is as ready as you are? Planning a wedding is that and much more. More expensive and you're the one in charge of this event. Different places have different cultures and belief systems which go into their wedding planning. For example the something new, something blue. Or jumping the broom, but one thing that's apart of every wedding is the vows. Whether the participants write their own or recite what the pastor in charge tells them. I believe this is the most sacred part of any wedding. When you stare in each other's eyes hold each other's hands and swear in multiple ways to have and to hold and love regardless of circumstances. That's why planning a wedding is so hectic.

  2. Quite so. Wedding viewed from a different angle, the most important one. Without the vows there's no union, no wedding.
